Once again, we had the pleasure of being visited by a Japanese delegation for our Styrian Kendo Gasshuku 2024 (04.10-06.10) in Fürstenfeld.
After a first welcome ji-geiko on Friday, the almost 50 participants had the chance to improve their Kendo during Asa geiko and two more sessions each day. To get the most out of the gasshuku, the delegation led by NOGUCHI Shinichiro (Hanshi 8.Dan Kendo) split the participants into four groups. It was all about Kata, Kihon-Kata, Kihon and more advanced waza; and yes – lots of jigeiko.
We want to express our gratitude to all members of the delegation who traveled that far to spread their kendo knowledge.
